FOLCs can find some small solace in the fact that the show will live on in syndicated re-runs, at least in the United States.  "Lois and Clark" began airing on the TNT network on September 2, 1997.  TNT airs the episodes uncut, in stereo, at 6 pm ET (3 pm Pacific time) Monday through Saturday, and Sundays at 9 am ET (6 am Pacific time). You can click here for the current TNT schedule.

The prospects that TNT might produce new episodes (or a Lois & Clark TV "movie") are not so bright, however. In fact, according to Lisa Mateas, TNT's Vice President of Programming and Acquisitions, TNT will not be creating additional, new episodes:

"[W]hen it looked as though ABC was not going to go forward with the series, we made unofficial inquiries regarding continuation in some form, but as of this time it doesn't look like this is feasible, for a number of reasons which you can probably figure out. We have a number of L&C fans here at the network, and I can truly say that we have done more thinking about this show than nearly any other, and if there were a way to make more episodes happen we'd be interested, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen."
